A classic invitation set

This traditional and elegant wedding invitation suite was created for Lydia and Rodrigo, a sweet and social couple living in Washington DC. 

For who don't know, DC is prep-city, but a pretty awesome place to hang out nonetheless.  Lydia and Rodrigo both grew up in the area and with their wedding at a country club just outside the city, this style fit perfectly with the scene. 


Clean lines on the border echo Roman columns seen on monuments, with just a bit of calligraphic flourish.  Natural white felt paper added to the classic feel, while a periwinkle blue brought in the tone of the blue hydrangeas that adorned the venue.

The rsvp was a double sided postcard which made returning it quick and easy.

The lock up of their names was used throughout their other day-of accessories.

I was lucky enough to attend this affair and it was not only as classy and elegant as the invitations, but also a ton of fun!
